Salesforce Strengthens Agentic AI Strategy with Agentforce 360

Salesforce introduced Agentforce 360, bringing AI capabilities into a cohesive platform integrating people, agents, applications, and data. President Srini Talapragada highlighted that many customers face challenges in deriving value from AI, often stuck in a ‘pilot purgatory’. The new platform features the readable Agent Script language for easier definition of complex agent behaviors, along with the hybrid Atlas Reasoning Engine that supports large language models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.

Additional functionalities include Agentforce Voice, which offers personalized voice experiences and integrates with various call center systems. Users will benefit from seamless monitoring and involvement during interactions. The platform aims for better data readiness and prompt engineering, addressing misconceptions around AI usability. While Salesforce envisions Slack as a central workspace, experts express caution about its complex licensing structure and the potential cost burdens on customers, emphasizing that while the integration strategy is promising, actual implementation risks remain.
