Salesforce Report on AI Automation Goals for 2027

Salesforce has released the ‘State of Service Report’ based on a survey of 6,500 service professionals globally, including South Korea. Currently, about 30% of customer inquiries are handled by AI, and this figure is projected to rise to 50% by 2027. The report reveals that 69% of respondents utilize at least one AI technology, with 39% having implemented AI agents. Among the applications of AI in customer service, knowledge document search, FAQ assistance, and training of personnel stand out, especially in South Korea where nearly 89% believe AI contributes positively to customer service. Furthermore, implementing AI is expected to increase upsell revenues by 15% and enhance customer satisfaction.
