Gamma Attracts $68 Million Investment in AI PPT Era

The $68 million investment round for Gamma was spearheaded by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Accel and Uncork Capital. With a company valuation of $2.1 billion, Gamma has also achieved an impressive annual recurring revenue of over $100 million, emphasizing its robust growth trajectory since its launch in 2020. The platform has attracted over 70 million users globally and has produced over 400 million pieces of content, including presentations, websites, and interactive documents.

Gamma began as an AI-based PowerPoint alternative but has since expanded its functions to allow users to create various digital assets in just minutes by entering prompts. Andreessen Horowitz’s General Partner, Sarah Wang, highlighted the widespread use of Gamma in internal operations, noting its revolutionary impact on communication methods. Additionally, Another Company, a PR and marketing agency, leveraged Gamma to produce over 50 documents daily, saving around 50,000 hours annually, while CEO Grant Lee emphasized Gamma’s role in leveling the playing field for business storytelling.
