Source: The Hacker News

On Tuesday, Microsoft announced critical security updates addressing 63 vulnerabilities in its software. Among these, four are classified as critical, while the majority, 59, are deemed important. A significant concern is that one of these vulnerabilities is actively exploited in the wild, highlighting the urgency of deploying these patches.

The vulnerabilities are diverse, with 29 related to privilege escalation, which can allow unauthorized users to gain elevated access, making these particularly dangerous. Additionally, 16 vulnerabilities involve remote code execution, which could enable attackers to execute malicious code on affected systems.
