Dong-Woon Lee will be responsible for establishing strategies and achieving sales goals at SUSE Korea. He has an extensive background in technology and management, particularly demonstrated during his tenure at Cloud Software Group, where he drove business growth through a deep understanding of the Korean market.
Joseph Garcia, head of SUSE Asia Pacific, expressed that Korea is a crucial strategic market for SUSE and is pleased to have Lee onboard. Lee, who started his career in pre-sales at Nortel Networks and LG-Nortel, joined Citrix in 2009, serving in various leadership roles, including as managing director of Citrix Korea since 2015.
Lee emphasized the importance of open-source innovations and plans to work closely with team members, partners, and customers to expand open-source options and support Korean companies in their digital and cloud transition as cloud adoption accelerates.
