Cisco Firewalls Affected by Zero-Day Flaws

Source: BleepingComputer

This week, Cisco disclosed the active exploitation of two vulnerabilities affecting their ASA and FTD firewalls. These vulnerabilities have led to zero-day attacks that now exploit these flaws to force the affected firewalls into continuous reboot loops. The vulnerabilities pose significant risks to organizations relying on these firewalls for security.

The most pressing concern is that as more attackers utilize these vulnerabilities, the potential for widespread denial-of-service (DoS) attacks increases. Organizations that have not yet patched these vulnerabilities are urged to do so immediately to prevent further exploitation. Cisco’s notice highlights the urgency for users to address these vulnerabilities to maintain network security and operational integrity.
