The South Korean government is launching an AI-driven integrated support platform that aims to streamline the process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This platform will unite over 2,700 support programs, reducing the average documentation required from 9 to 4.4 forms. By merging existing services, the initiative intends to alleviate the challenges faced by SMEs when seeking support, providing all necessary information through a single portal.

In addition to providing information from various government and local authorities, the AI will analyze business types, locations, funding history, and search records to recommend the most suitable support programs automatically. This will save time and effort for SMEs, especially those focused on exporting or needing specific guidance. Enhanced features will also streamline creating tailored business plans using AI, significantly reducing paperwork.

Moreover, to combat illegal practices, the platform will include systems to prevent unauthorized applications and fraud. Efforts to enhance collaboration with venture capital and create a supportive ecosystem for startups are also in place, indicating a concerted effort to innovate and improve the entrepreneurial environment in South Korea.
