61% of Spanish Companies Achieve Increased Productivity from AI

According to the recent study by IBM, titled ‘The Race for ROI’, 61% of Spanish firms have reported notable enhancements in operational productivity thanks to AI. More than one-fifth of participants claim to have met their return on investment targets with AI-driven productivity solutions. Moreover, on average, 37% anticipate reaching these goals within the next year, primarily through cost reductions.

Approximately one-third of surveyed executives utilize AI to streamline operations in various formats, including speeding up innovation timelines and transitioning to continuous AI-driven decision-making. The overwhelming majority of senior leaders (91%) believe AI is enhancing workforce capabilities. Increased productivity has allowed employees to focus more on operational improvements and advanced data analysis. Critical priorities for business leaders to hasten AI ROI comprise defining effective operational models, cultivating AI literacy, integrating tools, and applying governance measures to mitigate regulatory risks. This evolving landscape indicates a pressing need for companies to adapt effectively to AI-driven changes while addressing privacy and ethical concerns.
