Repsol has initiated a multi-agent AI platform aimed at facilitating the configuration of intelligent agents organized into workflows. This collaborative system allows teams to create new environments that enhance work models. Over the course of its implementation, Repsol developed extensive knowledge bases to support teams in utilizing AI agents effectively. Additionally, a novel interface was designed to adapt language models to a collaborative professional setting.

The pilot program has been approved by Repsol’s Digitalization and Services management, involving over 700 individuals and deploying three teams with more than 20 AI agents. These agents have been active for over four months in critical processes. This system has enabled more than 50 people to collaboratively oversee teams of AI agents, leading to significant efficiencies and improvements. Susana Meseguer, in a statement, emphasized Repsol’s ambition to maintain a pioneering role in the energy sector through disruptive technologies. The initiative aligns with Repsol’s long-term strategic goals, especially in navigating energy transition and decarbonization challenges.
