Seoul AI Foundation Collaborates with IBM to Drive Public AI Service Innovation

The collaboration between Seoul AI Foundation and IBM, which includes notable figures such as Kim Man-ki and Lee Soo-jung, was formalized to explore the use of cutting-edge technologies like AI and quantum computing in the public domain. They will work together to identify opportunities for using these technologies to enhance public sector efficiency and transparency, as well as to support startups and SMEs in adopting new technologies through the Quantum Startup Program.

By establishing educational, research, and talent development programs in AI and quantum computing, the partnership aims to foster innovation in public services. The Seoul AI Foundation plans to leverage IBM’s global technological capabilities and networks for the effective application of these innovative technologies. They intend to support the positioning of Seoul as a hub for global innovation by providing a foundation for startups and SMEs to access AI and quantum computing resources, which is critical for addressing administrative efficiency and data-driven policymaking.
